MANAGER HOW-TO

Purchase, Set Up & Run a Game

1

What This Guide Covers

This How-To walks you through the full lifecycle of running a game night: purchasing credits, assigning a game to a host, and the host running the event. It covers both Trivia and Music Bingo.

2

Two Game Types

Trivia: A classic 4-round, 4-questions-per-round pub trivia game with multiple-choice answers, images, video, music, and Double Down questions. Teams can answer on their phones by scanning the QR code on the display, on paper slips, or both. Music Bingo: A 4-round music bingo game where players listen to songs and mark them on bingo cards. Each round has a different category, win method, and win pattern.

3

How Pricing Works

Epic Trivia is one monthly plan that includes a set number of games each month, plus extra games at a flat $25 whenever you need more. Plans: Solopreneur $50/month (4 games), Multi-Op $149/month (12 games), and Unlimited Games $399/month (unlimited trivia and bingo). Every plan includes unlimited host accounts, unlimited supervisors, and Continuous Play at no extra cost — so your bill is just your plan plus any extra games you buy.

4

Key Concepts

Games: Your game inventory. 1 game = 1 event — charged per game, not per host, so co-hosts cost nothing extra. A game is reserved when you schedule it and only charged when the host actually redeems the access code, so a night that never happens doesn't cost you anything. Monthly refresh: Your plan's included games reset on the 1st of each calendar month (they don't roll over); games you purchase on top never expire. Daily Game: A different trivia game published each weekday. A booking isn't locked to a game — the host receives whichever daily game is published for the event date when they redeem their code. Access Code: A unique code (EPIC-XXXX-XXXX) the host enters to retrieve and download their game; it stays valid until 7 days after the event date, so you can schedule weeks ahead. Admin Dashboard: The admin-managed library of games and questions behind the daily game.

System Requirements

The system runs entirely in an internet browser and works on both Windows and Apple iOS devices. No special software is required — just use any modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc.).
