Epic Trivia

Terms of Service

Last updated October 2026

These Terms govern your use of Epic Trivia & Bingo (the “Service”), operated by Epic Entertainment, Inc. By creating an account, purchasing credits, or starting a subscription, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by hosts you invite. Keep your password confidential and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Accounts are for the venue, manager, or host who registered them. You may not share manager credentials with third parties or resell access to the Service.

2. Credits and Game Assignments

Game credits are prepaid units used to assign a trivia or music bingo game to a host. One credit assigns one game. Credits do not expire.

An assigned game is valid for 7 days from the date it is assigned. A game that has not been started may be recalled from the Manager Dashboard, which returns the credit to your balance. Once a game has been started past the early-play threshold, it is considered used and the credit is not returned.

Credits have no cash value, are not transferable between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for money.

3. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

The Solopreneur Plan ($50/month), Multi-Op Plan ($149/month), Unlimited Games Plan ($399/month), and Continuous Play ($25/month) are recurring subscriptions. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method the plan price automatically at the start of each monthly billing period until you cancel.

You may cancel at any time from your Manager Dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan remains active for the remainder of the period you have already paid for. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect on your account.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your purchase. Failed or reversed payments may result in suspension of access until resolved.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

All trivia questions, music bingo content, game formats, artwork, and software provided through the Service remain the property of Epic Entertainment, Inc. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use game content to run events at your venue during the period of your access.

You may not copy, redistribute, publish, resell, or use game content to create a competing product or question bank. Printed materials such as answer slips and bingo cards may be reproduced only for use at your own events.

Content you upload — venue slides, custom game names, uploaded media — remains yours. You grant us permission to store and display it as needed to operate the Service, and you confirm you have the rights to use it.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or game data, interfering with the platform's operation, uploading unlawful or infringing material, or using the Service in violation of any applicable law.

7. Host Matching

When we connect a venue with a host, the resulting engagement is a direct arrangement between the venue and that host. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for scheduling, payment, or performance between those parties.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, is used fraudulently, or has unresolved payment failures. Where practical, we will give notice first.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Live events depend on your own equipment, internet connection, and venue conditions, which are outside our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business.

10. Music Licensing

Public performance licenses for music played at an event (for example from BMI, ASCAP, SESAC or GMR) are solely the responsibility of the venue where the event takes place. Managers must inform each venue they work with of this responsibility. Epic Entertainment, Inc., Epic Trivia, and managers do not verify, and are not responsible for, any venue's licensing status.

11. Text Messages (SMS)

Epic Trivia sends transactional text messages to managers, hosts and venue contacts who provide a mobile number and agree to receive texts — for example game reminders, host assignment updates, and event-related requests. Message frequency varies by event schedule. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help or contact us at support@epicentertainment.group. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your number.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Questions about these Terms can be sent through our contact page.
